ABOUT

FORMA NOIR

Forma Noir creates fine art photography rooted in contrast - between light and shadow, emotion and silence. Each piece is made to last, to speak, and to mean something.

The Vision Behind Forma Noir

Forma Noir was founded by Swedish photographer Christian Schneider, whose work explores the relationship between light, geometry, and emotion. Christian has his studio in the center of Stockholm.

Each photograph is a study in silence, form, and impermanence - inspired by the beauty hidden in everyday life.

Shot with precision, printed to museum standards, and created to last for generations.

Christian has the past years outside his street photo shot campaign events for companies like Armani, Dior, L'oreal, Spotify and many more.

The Process

Sustainable craftsmanship - made to last for generations.

Forma Noir proudly collaborates with Prodigi - Europe's leading fine art print specialists - ensuring museum-grade quality and sustainable production across every order.

Every Forma Noir artwork is created through a meticulous and environmentally conscious process.

Each print is produced on demand in collaboration with Europe's leading fine art labs, using museum-grade papers, FSC-certified solid wood, and archival pigment inks designed to last for over a century.

From the moment an order is placed, it enters a production chain built on sustainability and precision.

We partner exclusively with labs that meet ISO 14001 and ISO 26000 standards for environmental and ethical compliance - ensuring fair labour, renewable energy use, and full traceability of materials.

All paper and wood used in Forma Noir prints is sourced from sustainably managed forests, supporting biodiversity, carbon storage, and responsible forestry practices. Our inks are neo-pigment, water-based, non-toxic, and certified by Oeko-Tex 100 and Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) - meeting the strictest safety criteria in the world.

By using an international network of local print facilities, each artwork is produced as close as possible to its destination, dramatically reducing carbon emissions from transport.

Packaging is plastic-free, recyclable, and designed to protect without excess.

Every detail - from the choice of paper to the final seal on the box - reflects our belief that fine art should honour both the craft and the planet.

Forma Noir exists to create with conscience - producing beauty that endures, responsibly.
